The American Jeepster Club - Club Information
The original intent of the club was to help members of the 1966-73 models network for parts. Members could list their parts for sale and the parts they wanted. Information on installations or custom work done on Jeepsters such as heater box modifications, are passed on to fellow members. A member's address list was then created so fellow Jeepster owners could help each other and plan trips in their own areas.
The club has been growing quite a bit thanks to the 4x4 magazines and the Internet and with that we are having growing pains. Because of this we must limit memberships to U.S. owners of '66-73 Jeepsters.
The newsletter that accompanies your membership may also be late. You should be mailed a newsletter that is published quarterly, but Jim our president, is trying to complete the backlog of membership applications. Between two blown engines and a dashboard fire, Jim is very busy. When you do receive the newsletter, you will find that it contains an ever increasing list of Jeepster owners, valuable information concerning your Jeepster (the location of parts, modifying & stock fix-it tips from fellow members) and the opportunity to plan Jeepster events and functions in your area.
You will also receive the Club's business cards, an extra application form, and the Club's safety tips and trip guidelines. Club hats, T-shirts & decal also available at great prices.
