HOTEL, RV, AND CAMPING INFORMATION

The Club has 50 rooms reserved for this event. There will also be 50 parking lot spaces reserved for Jeepsters /Commandos.

Reservations/Cut off Dates:

Please call the hotel directly to make reservations. You will need to tell the reservation person  the name of our group, being, American Jeepster Club. Each attendee will be required to guarantee their room with a major credit card. The group rates will be honored until three (3) weeks before arrival date (August 10, 2006) at which time any remaining rooms will be released back to the hotel for general sale.

Check In/Out Time:

Check-in time is 3:00 pm, and check out time is 12:00 noon. All guests arriving before 3:00 pm, will be accommodated as  rooms become available. Bell Desk can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on departure day.

Group Rates:

Wednesday - Thursday.....$29.00 per night

Friday - Saturday................................$79.00 per night

Sunday..............$29.00 per night

The above rate is based on single or double occupancy and excludes Washoe County room tax presently at 13.5%. No Saturday arrivals allowed. Rollaway beds can be provided at $10.00 each.

Self-contained RVs can park at the hotel for free.

Campgrounds: 

Davis Creek park and campground.  RV and tents. First come first serve.

Has showers and allows pets. Campground is about 20 miles South of Reno. $13.00 per night. Pet is $1.00 extra. If you want to have a fire, please bring an axe, shovel and 5 gallons of water. Check if a fire permit is needed.

If heading south on Hwy 395, go about 20 miles and take the Bowers Mansion ext. and head west. You will see the campground signs.

 Bower Mansion is a cool place to check out and it even has a hot springs pool.

Border Town RV Resort.

Has RV sites and tent sites. Also has a store and Casino.

Washoe  Lake State Park

This park has it all. The Park can be windy at times.

The park is located 10 miles north of Carson City and 15 mites south of Reno. Take U.S. 395 north to the East Lake Boulevard exit, than drive north on East Lake Boulevard approximately 3.1 miles to the park entrance. From Reno, take 395 south to the East Lake Boulevard intersection, turn left, and drive south on East Lake Boulevard for 7.1 miles to the park entrance
