Rubicon Run Camping and Meeting Information

Wednesday evening camping:

Might be best to leave your tow vehicles up in the Homewood area and than drive your rig down to the Loon Lake area and set up Wednesday night camping there. There is plenty of camping and RV parks around the Loon Lake/Ice House area. Leaving your tow vehicles around Homewood and South Shore will help prevent you from having to back track Friday. Instead all you will need to do is hook up and than head into Reno from there.

Meeting area:

Plan on departing from the  Ice House Store at 8:30 am on Thursday morning.  We will leave the Ice House store at 8:30 and meet at Loon lake dam at 9:00 am. Plan on leaving loon Lake at 9:00 am.

 

Ice House Directions:

From Sacramento, take HWY 50/US50 east towards Placerville/South Tahoe. From Placerville it's about 22 miles east on 50. Ice House Road turns north off of US50 about 36 miles west of the Y (junction of US50 & CA89 at South Tahoe.
